Why “Cold-Pressed” Oils are better?

Facebookta Payla Tweetle

Cold-pressing is purely a mechanical process that does not involve any kind of chemical treatment.

In a real and complete cold-pressing system, the maximum temperature that the products are exposed does not exceed 40 ⁰C.

By cold pressing, the plant or the seed does not lost its natural essence, flavor, taste, and aroma and it preserves all its nutritional value.

In a cold-press system, hexane is not used while in conventional oil production, oil is expelled by solvent extraction in hexane tanks.

Unlike the refined conventional oils, cold-pressed oils do not undergo or require any kind of process such as mucilage removal (degumming), acid reduction (neutralization), bleaching, deodorization and winterization.
